Looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a growing Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role will support day-to-day finance operations with a strong focus on accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
Investigating and resolving discrepancies identified in bank reconciliations
Regularly reviewing and investigating debtor listings
Processing purchase invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate coding within the finance system
Handling internal and external finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner
Supporting month-end processes and assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks
Carrying out general finance administration duties as required
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive, fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
