Head of Network Security & Resilience

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the organisation's network cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Establish and govern network security architecture, standards, and best practices across core, access, transport, cloud, and edge environments.
• Oversee implementation and effectiveness of network security controls (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, secure access).
• Assess emerging technologies (e.g. 5G/6G, AI-driven networks) and ensure security is embedded in design and deployment.
• Lead incident response and risk mitigation strategies related to network threats.
• Engage senior stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on network security risks and investments.
• Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering, with leadership responsibilities
• Strong expertise in network security technologies.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in designing and securing large-scale, complex network environments.
• Strong background in security architecture and design governance.
• Experience defining standards, frameworks, and policies across regions
• Ability to embed security into network design and transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred.
