My Advice

Most people do not engage with the job market until they have already decided it is time to move on. Engaging with former colleagues and trusted recruiters early enables you to have a clear picture of the market, including which companies are performing well and what skills are currently being valued. Things can change very quickly. Spending the time to build a picture of your area ensures that when you do decide to move, you have the market knowledge and existing contacts to make an informed decision that moves your career in the right direction.

My Background

My path into recruitment was a deliberate move. After studying in Nagasaki, I developed a real affinity for Japan and knew I wanted to build my career here. I have spent my entire recruitment career focused exclusively on the IT sector, which has provided me with a deep understanding of the industry from the ground up.

I focus on giving clear, actionable advice to both candidates and clients, and I look forward to contributing to the team here at Morgan McKinley by connecting talented professionals with the right opportunities in the Tokyo market.
