As a Talent Management Manager, you will play a key role in enabling employees to deploy their skills effectively and maximize performance across the organization. Working within a global insurance and financial services company, this role focuses on aligning talent, performance, succession, and inclusion initiatives to support sustainable business growth. You will collaborate closely with global and regional stakeholders to drive impactful talent strategies in a complex, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global talent teams and local HR Business Partners to execute annual talent reviews, including data collection, critical role identification, and action tracking
- Analyze talent and succession data to develop local dashboards highlighting trends in potential, succession readiness, and workforce planning
- Prepare materials and facilitate talent and succession review discussions, ensuring outcomes translate into clear follow-up actions
- Plan and lead talent forums where senior leaders assess high-potential talent and monitor development progress
- Support managers in aligning talent, performance, and compensation reviews by providing insights and recommendations to HR leadership
- Establish tracking mechanisms to measure the impact of talent initiatives and drive measurable behavioral change
- Assess organizational challenges and design targeted development programs, workshops, and team-building initiatives to improve performance and engagement
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Over 6 years of experience in talent management within a global or multinational organization
- Strong hands-on experience in talent management, organizational development, and team management
- Proven experience designing and delivering workshops and development programs
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Soft Skills:
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Clear, structured, and persuasive communication skills
- Extensive stakeholder management experience across senior leadership and global teams
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in matrixed or multinational organizations
- Exposure to diversity & inclusion, succession planning, or workforce planning initiatives
