Join one of Japan's largest beverage manufacturers as a Talent Development Lead responsible for designing and delivering learning programs that strengthen employee performance, leadership capability, and long-term engagement. You will lead organization-wide initiatives in training, leadership development, vendor management, and learning evaluation, driving impactful development programs that support business goals across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent development plans aligned with overall HR strategy through organizational training needs analysis.
- Create and deliver in-house training programs, both in-person and online, using diverse learning methods and continuous improvement through feedback.
- Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors to provide cost-effective and high-quality learning solutions.
- Design and execute leadership development programs including coaching, mentoring, and high-potential development, especially for emerging and female leaders.
- Measure training effectiveness using ROI, behavior change data, engagement metrics, and other evaluation frameworks to maximize learning impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in talent development, L&D, or similar HR roles.
- Proven success in designing and delivering employee development programs.
- Experience with LMS systems, e-learning tools, vendor management, and training evaluation methods.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Expertise in applying evaluation frameworks such as ROI analysis and impact measurement.
Soft Skills:
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong project management and change management abilities.
- Ability to produce professional documents in English.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native
- English: Conversational or above
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in leadership development within large organizations.
- Knowledge of HR business partnering or organizational development.
- Experience working in manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
