IT Quality Auditor - ISO 9001 Internal Audit & QMS

This is a high-impact contracting position as a Haken IT Quality & ISO 9001 Internal Auditor within the IT Strategy Division's Quality Management Section (QMS).
You will support a critical group-wide mission: improving service quality to maximize customer satisfaction across a global ecosystem. Working under the direct leadership of the CIO structure and reporting into senior IT strategy management, you will drive not only ISO 9001 compliance, but also continuous process evolution across multiple business units.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to build a career in IT governance, internal audit, and enterprise quality management in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex ISO 9001 requirements into actionable quality strategies across the organization.
- Plan and execute internal audits to ensure strict compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Track and analyze quality KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder meetings to review audit results and improvement plans.
- Document audit reports and non-conformities with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage cross-department initiatives and group-wide projects assigned by the IT Strategy Division.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure service quality aligns with core business principles.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations for senior management regarding audit findings and quality improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or internal audit functions.
- Proven hands-on experience working with ISO 9001 standards and audit-related processes.
- Track record of managing multiple audit activities and supporting project management tasks.
Soft Skills:
- Strong ability to communicate complex quality concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, including executives.
- Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail in documentation.
- Confident facilitator with strong stakeholder engagement and meeting management ability.
- Comfortable presenting and leading discussions across departments.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent to native level
- English: Business level proficiency (TOEIC 800+ preferred)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience analyzing quality processes and supporting QMS strategy development.
- Practical ability in requirements definition and analysis within quality management systems.
- Experience managing large-scale audit events and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of KPI-based quality tracking and continuous improvement using data analysis.
