Join a global E-commerce leader in Tokyo as a Mobile QA Engineer, ensuring the quality of high-impact SDKs that power massive data pipelines. You will play a key role in mobile and web SDK testing, driving quality improvements across large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing for Mobile/Web SDKs across UI and API layers.
- Design detailed test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring full lifecycle resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define requirements and improve system quality.
- Implement automation strategies (shift-left/shift-right) to integrate testing into release cycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of software QA experience, focusing on Mobile/Web SDKs and Android/iOS applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-scale environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and global teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Basic level
- English: Business level (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with performance and security testing tools such as JMeter.
- Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics and data validation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and mobile monitoring tools (Bitrise, Firebase).
- Experience with TestRail and integration with automation frameworks.
- Background in stress testing high-traffic systems handling large data volumes.
