Are you an experienced Implementation Manager with a passion for delivering enterprise software solutions? We are seeking a client-focused professional to lead end-to-end software implementation projects for enterprise customers across Japan.
Based in Tokyo, you'll oversee the complete implementation lifecycle-from project planning and solution configuration through deployment and post-go-live support. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring successful software delivery, outstanding customer experience, and long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects from project kick-off through post-implementation handover.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers, and delivery schedules.
- Gather customer requirements and translate business needs into practical implementation plans.
- Coordinate solution configuration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and go-live activities.
- Facilitate customer workshops, project meetings, and regular stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Deliver customer training sessions and support user adoption of enterprise software solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, delivery standards, and project processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven experience managing enterprise software, SaaS, or enterprise application implementation projects.
- Demonstrated success leading customer-facing implementation projects from planning through deployment.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across both technical and business teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies and full project lifecycle management.
- Exposure to solution configuration, system integration, APIs, or data migration projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Professional-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills.

- Japanese: Fluent

- Knowledge of APIs, SSO, XML, and enterprise system integration technologies.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Wrike, or Smartsheet.
- Project Management certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
- Experience working with regional or global implementation teams.
- Background in technology consulting, professional services, or customer implementation.
