Join a globally recognized technology company as a Haken Data Center Technical Project Manager, leading mission-critical data center infrastructure projects across Japan. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects including new data center builds, capacity expansions, server deployments, network implementations, cloud infrastructure, facility upgrades, and migration initiatives.
Working closely with engineering, operations, and global stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure that supports enterprise platforms and cloud services. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data center infrastructure projects from planning through execution, monitoring, and successful completion.
- Manage projects involving server deployments, network infrastructure, storage systems, rack installations, power and cooling systems, and facility upgrades.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and project status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, facilities, security, procurement, and external vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across Japan and global headquarters.
- Facilitate project meetings, technical workshops, and project reviews in both Japanese and English.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive continuous improvements to project execution processes and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of technical project management experience within data center, infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of data center technologies including servers, networking, storage, power, cooling, racks, cabling, and facility infrastructure.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure deployment, migration, or modernization projects.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise project management methodologies and best practices.

- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications.
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure with high availability requirements.
- Experience collaborating with global engineering and operations teams.
