Join a leading global bank as a Commercial Credit Card Sales Specialist to lead the origination, sales strategy, and growth of corporate card and payment solutions in Japan. This senior front-office role focuses on driving revenue across corporate payments, T&E (Travel & Entertainment), and eCommerce segments, working closely with both multinational and large Japanese clients. You will play a key role in expanding the bank's payment solutions franchise through innovation, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and sales strategy for commercial card and payment solutions targeting large corporates and multinationals.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships across finance, treasury, and procurement departments.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive deal origination, execution, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, coverage, and risk teams to deliver integrated payment solutions.
- Provide market insights and strategic input to enhance the commercial card business in Japan.
- Represent the bank at industry events and client meetings, promoting innovation and digital transformation in payments.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk control standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of corporate or transaction banking experience, preferably in payments or commercial cards.
- Proven success in sales origination and strategic account management with large Japanese corporates.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of corporate payment ecosystems, including T&E and eCommerce.
- Experience collaborating across regional and product teams in a global banking environment.
Soft Skills:
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and client engagement skills.

Language Requirements
