In this pivotal role, you will oversee operational efficiency, strengthen the control framework, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Support governance and risk forums, ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining strong operational control frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance on policy, regulation, and compliance, aligning internal standards with external requirements.
- Monitor pre-event risks, support incident management, and track remediation actions to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Oversee KRI monitoring, issue escalation, and action tracking to ensure timely resolutions.
- Conduct risk and control assessments to identify gaps, implement improvements, and enhance operational resilience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:

Over 10 years of professional experience in operational risk management, control framework implementation, or process reviews in a global markets or trading environment.
Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and best practices.
Soft Skills:

Highly adaptable, collaborative, and capable of managing cross-functional initiatives.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native (required for stakeholder and internal communication).
- English: Business level (required for reporting and coordination with global teams).

- Familiarity with global operational risk frameworks and control culture initiatives.
- Experience supporting or leading control enhancement projects.
- Background in investment banking operations or business management is advantageous.
