They are now seeking a Logistics & Operations Executive to support the development and optimisation of their logistics operations, materials collection processes, and event-based activities. As Logistics & Operations Executive, you will support the effective management of the logistics operations function, ensuring the commercial and operational model remains efficient, compliant, and aligned to strategic business objectives.
Working closely with the Account Manager, you will help manage contractual performance, oversee partnership relationships, and introduce improvements that enhance operational excellence.
Work with the Account Manager to review contractual agreements and ensure all addendums protect organisational interests.
Monitor, audit, and track contractual activity, enforcing penalties for non-compliance where necessary.
Support operational audits to maintain adherence to internal standards and industry regulations.
Maintain awareness of changes in logistics and waste legislation, ensuring practices remain compliant and fit for purpose.
Monitor and analyse logistics and operational performance, contributing to the development of KPI frameworks.
Conduct trend analysis on historical data to support future forecasting and operational planning.
Gather and prepare data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reporting.
Produce monthly updates, presentations, and executive papers as required.
Ensure all SOPs, policies, procedures, and risk matrices are current, relevant, and aligned to operational activities.
Support the integration and testing of operating models to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
Review and update business continuity plans at least annually, or in line with operational changes.
Work with the Account Manager to implement performance improvements and commercial optimisation initiatives.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers, and operational partners.
Take a partnership-driven approach to resolving issues, improving processes, and driving joint performance success.
Highly organised, solutions-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong understanding of logistics, waste management, and compliance requirements.
Confident working with data, conducting analysis, and reporting on performance trends.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with high-profile stakeholders.
Experience designing, delivering, or managing logistics or operational solutions.
Proactive, dependable, and capable of working with minimal oversight.
A genuine interest in sustainability and environmental initiatives.
