This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Air Export Operator to join a company that places customer trust, quality, and high performance at the centre of everything it does.
As Air Export Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of a first-class export service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations while operating within agreed service levels, compliance frameworks, and commercial parameters.
You will manage export shipments end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a consistently high standard of customer service.
Operational Excellence & Customer Service
Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and deliver a consistently high level of service
Plan, arrange, monitor, and control air export shipments, including all associated documentation
Handle non-conformities promptly, ensuring product integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction
Receive and manage bookings from clients and overseas agents
Liaise with carriers to secure bookings and capacity
Compliance & Systems
Operate company IT systems effectively, including CargoWise
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal company standards
Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in full compliance with applicable regulations
Support customs clearance activities as required
Commercial & Administrative
Prepare accurate quotations for customers
Generate sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Process costs, accruals, and purchase invoices
Respond promptly and professionally to customer and internal queries
Carry out general administrative duties and provide holiday/absence cover when required

Qualifications & Experience
Leaving Certificate (minimum)
Formal training in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Air Export forwarding (pharmaceutical or life sciences experience highly desirable)
Good Distribution Practice (GDP) knowledge or experience
Dangerous Goods certification or practical experience
IT & Systems
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience using CargoWise is a distinct advantage
Languages
Fluent written and spoken English is essential
Additional major European languages are an advantage
Additional Skills & Experience
Excellent communication, organisational, and numeracy skills
Sea Freight and Road Freight experience is desirable
Import forwarding experience is advantageous
