Company Overview
Our organisation is a long-established designer and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic motor control solutions, based in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Operating for over 40 years, the company is certified to the Aerospace Standard AS/EN9100 for manufacturing, design, and aftermarket services.
We are now seeking applications for the position of Production Operator.
Summary of Function
Reporting to the PCB Production Supervisor, the Production Operator will support normal production activities within the PCB manufacturing environment as required.
Key Responsibilities

Operate assembly equipment to complete specified production tasks

Prepare components for manual assembly

Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment

Use torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners
-
Perform manual assembly of PCBs and selected mechanical hardware in accordance with formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings, and SOPs

Handle printed circuit boards and electronic components
-
Apply adhesives and conformal coatings
-
Carry out prototype assembly work under engineering control

Set up equipment and perform process-related measurements as required

Carry out operator-level machine maintenance as specified
-
Inspect and rework PCBs and components in line with established criteria

Use specified safety equipment during maintenance and production activities

Complete all required production documentation accurately

Use the ERP system to transact work orders
-
Adhere to all requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precautions, safety, and housekeeping
Full equipment-specific training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Knowledge of IPC-7711/7721 and IPC J-Standard and their application

2-3 years' relevant experience or knowledge of assembly functions (preferred)
