Senior Client Relationship Manager - Asset Servicing
Role overview :
In this role you will be the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of clients. You will liaise with clients and organise & attend regular review meetings / calls. You will resolve queries through to completion in a timely manner and liaise with clients to better understand their needs and requirements, and to identify potential process improvements and / or additional services that can be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Attend client board meetings and coordinate with the various departments / teams regarding their respective attendance, resolution of matters arising from previous board meetings and anticipating possible discussions items at the board meetings.
- Keep clients updated on all Asset Servicing products and services.
- Assist clients launch new funds.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and forms are in place for each client.
- Liaise with colleagues internally to ensure all outstanding operational issues are identified and addressed and where necessary advise the client.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the various different departments, locally and beyond.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a portfolio of clients.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Client Relationship Manager in the funds industry.
- Experience of attending, presenting and taking a lead role at board / client meetings.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of at least one of the following (fund accounting, transfer agency, custody, trustee and financial reporting).
- Good knowledge of current regulatory developments affecting the funds' industry.
- Project management skills.
- Interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients, industry associations and senior management
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Risk management and mitigation focus
- Proven organisational and time management skills
