Senior Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client in the aviation and structured finance sector to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates coming from practice or a Big 10 accounting background who are looking to apply their technical skills in a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly cash reports and management of cash flow

• Calculation and processing of monthly payments

• Preparation of quarterly accounting information and reports

• Preparation of annual accounts and statutory filings

• Preparation of quarterly board papers and attendance at board meetings

• Approval and oversight of payments to third parties

• Monitoring compliance with corporate formalities and operative agreements

• Liaising with external stakeholders including auditors, legal advisors, and service providers

• Drafting board minutes and supporting governance processes

• Participation in special projects as required

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified ACA / ACCA, recently qualified up to 2 years PQE

• Strong experience in accounting practice or Big 10 environment preferred

• Excellent Excel and reporting skills

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables

• Understanding of consolidation accounting principles

• Experience in aviation finance or structured finance advantageous

• Proactive, ambitious, and team-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines
