The Role
Seeking a Transport Administrator to join a well-established and growing transport operation based in Little Island, Cork. This is a permanent, Monday-Friday position offering excellent long-term career progression within a supportive and fast-paced logistics environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily transport and fleet operations, acting as a central point of contact for internal teams, customers, and third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities

Managing proof of delivery (POD) documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and filed correctly

Uploading and processing purchase orders (POs) and invoices, maintaining organised and up-to-date systems

Coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, liaising with workshops, suppliers, and parts providers to minimise downtime

Tracking maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Acting as a key point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and third-party logistics partners, handling queries professionally and efficiently

Supporting transport planners and operations teams with general administrative duties

Maintaining accurate transport and fleet records across internal systems

Proactively identifying process improvements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role (transport admin experience is an advantage)

Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and internal systems

A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
