About the Job
We are looking for a motivated and personable Junior Estate Agent to join our clients team in Waterford City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the property industry, whether you already have experience in estate agency or are looking to make the move into property from a sales or customer-focused background.
The role will involve a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, including managing property listings, conducting property viewings, liaising with vendors, landlords and buyers/tenants, and assisting with property valuations. You will also handle enquiries, support negotiations and help ensure a smooth and professional sales or letting process from start to finish.
A key part of the role will also involve creating high-quality social media content to showcase properties, increase brand visibility and engage with potential clients across digital platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience, build strong client relationships and contribute towards achieving sales and business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing property listings and ensuring details are accurate and up to date
- Conducting property viewings and following up with prospective clients
- Liaising with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants
- Assisting with property valuations and market appraisals
- Managing incoming enquiries and generating new business opportunities
- Supporting negotiations and progressing sales and lettings
- Creating engaging social media content to promote properties and the business
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve individual and company targets
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service throughout the property process
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate confidently and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, self-motivated and driven
- Friendly, confident and professional with strong people skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- PSRA registration or willingness to work towards obtaining it
- Previous experience in estate agency/property is beneficial but not essential
- Sales, customer service or other people-focused experience will be considered
- A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial
