Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a fast-growing Waterford based company. This is a newly created position within the finance function, driven by continued growth and ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play a key part in strengthening financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and building scalable finance processes to support ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance, and compliance, supporting audit, tax, and statutory requirements
• Oversee cash flow and working capital, ensuring accurate regulatory and operational reporting
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Manage the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, monitoring performance across departments
• Analyse variances, identify key drivers, and support departments in improving financial accountability
• Enhance finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to support scalability and efficiency
• Support ROI analysis and investment decisions across headcount, technology, marketing, and supplier spend
• Identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve financial performance while supporting business growth

Key Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification - ACCA / ACA / CIMA
• 3-5 years' experience in finance, accounting, or commercial finance
• Strong hands-on experience in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Sound knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements
• Comfortable working in a high-growth or evolving environment
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems
  Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident taking ownership
• Exposure to finance systems implementation or automation projects
