We are partnering exclusively with a fast‑growing organisation in the medical devices/medical solutions sector to hire an HR Manager for Ireland. This is a hands‑on, standalone HR role where you will act as the primary People lead for the Republic of Ireland, supporting a multi‑site workforce and working closely with the Group COO.
The company is on a strong growth trajectory, and with structures still maturing, this is an exceptional opportunity for a strong HR Generalist or rising HR Business Partner ready to step up and take ownership of a country‑level remit.
You'll shape HR for the Irish business, support leadership capability, strengthen people processes, and help build a consistent and compliant working environment across several sites.
If you enjoy building structure, influencing leaders, and rolling up your sleeves in a dynamic environment, this role offers real impact and the chance to grow as the organisation evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR Manager for all ROI employees (c.100).
- Provide end‑to‑end HR support including ER, performance, absence, policy, onboarding and coaching.
- Build HR structure where needed - processes, documentation, consistency, governance.
- Support line managers who are still developing confidence and capability.
- Partner with the COO on group‑wide HR initiatives as the company moves toward a shared services HR model.
- Handle ER matters calmly and pragmatically; offer clear, commercial solutions rather than textbook theory.
- Work across multiple Irish sites.
- Contribute to culture building, leadership development and workforce planning as the business grows.
Requirements
- An experienced HR Generalist or HRBP with approx 3-5 years strong, hands‑on experience.
- Comfortable working in a standalone role, managing everything from day‑to‑day issues to more strategic work.
- Confident with employee relations, able to manage issues end‑to‑end with sound judgement.
- Practical, commercial and straight‑talking - someone who finds solutions rather than quoting policy.
- Experienced in a regulated or technical environment (medical devices, pharma, engineering or manufacturing a strong plus).
- Resilient and willing to "roll up their sleeves" in a business that is evolving its HR maturity.
