Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Our client, a global manufacturing leader, are seeking to hire a Continuous Improvement Coordinator for their Mayo site.

We are delighted to partner with this global manufacturer as they grow their team in Ireland. They are now seeking to hire aContinuous Improvement Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator you will be responsible for the identification and implementation of OpEx and Lean manufacturing initiatives in line with site requirements and strategic KPIs. Experience in continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate manufacturing operations and identify, present and implement continuous improvement solutions.
• Effectively project manage continuous improvement initiatives with key manufacturing objectives in mind.
• Continuously report on all lean/OpEx activities to management.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to deliver lean belt training across the site.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Lean/Continuous Improvement/OpEx role.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage projects effectively to completion.
• Good understanding of cost-saving processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills.
