    A Transport business is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their office team.

    You will be responsible for a variety of general bookkeeping and record keeping functions on behalf of the company

    This role is full time, Monday - Friday, hybrid working arrangements and flexible working hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Posting purchase invoices
    • Maintaining leasing schedule for all new assets
    • Completion of monthly bank reconciliation ensuring all bank payments and receipts are posted
    • Preparing adjustments as necessary
    • Prepare ad-hoc reports as required
    • Assist with completion of VAT returns
    • Additional tasks as required

    Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

    • Suitable for an applicant with Accounting Technician qualification / part qualified accountant / Accounting & Finance graduate
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organisational ability
    • Effective written & verbal communications skills
    • Ability to consistently meet deadlines working as part of a team or individually
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel

    Requirements:

    - 2+ years' experience in an accounts based role with bookkeeping experience

    - Transport sector experience (not essential)
