A Transport business is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their office team.
You will be responsible for a variety of general bookkeeping and record keeping functions on behalf of the company
This role is full time, Monday - Friday, hybrid working arrangements and flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Posting purchase invoices
- Maintaining leasing schedule for all new assets
- Completion of monthly bank reconciliation ensuring all bank payments and receipts are posted
- Preparing adjustments as necessary
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as required
- Assist with completion of VAT returns
- Additional tasks as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Suitable for an applicant with Accounting Technician qualification / part qualified accountant / Accounting & Finance graduate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational ability
- Effective written & verbal communications skills
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines working as part of a team or individually
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in an accounts based role with bookkeeping experience
- Transport sector experience (not essential)
