Key Responsibilities
- Processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, and reconciling hours on a weekly basis.
- Co-ordination of timesheet processing and management of the Time & Attendance (T&A) system, including all absences.
- Coordinating new hire setups, leavers, T&A entries, as well as various other payroll/personnel transactions and adjustments.
- Providing direct customer service to employees with high-quality, professional, and timely responses to queries.
- Processing of all statutory payments in line with prevailing legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with payroll internal controls (SOX processes), and company guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, payroll processes, pensions, Benefit-in-Kind (BIK), and other additions and deductions.
- Effectively working with an external third-party payroll provider.
- Liaising with national tax authorities (Revenue) and various third-party providers as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous Irish (IRE) payroll experience is essential.
- Relevant payroll qualification (IPASS or equivalent) is essential.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formatting, data validation, and data analysis.
- Possess the ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
