Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner exclusively with a growing commercial organisation in Dublin West on the appointment of a commercially focused Finance Manager.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will take ownership of core finance operations, financial reporting, month-end close and financial controls, while also playing an important role in supporting the wider commercial performance of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. Alongside leading the day-to-day finance function, the successful candidate will gain significant exposure to budgeting, forecasting, client profitability, revenue analysis, process improvement and strategic decision-making.
The role will also involve managing and developing a small finance team and working closely with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and management accounts.
- Prepare financial reporting and business analysis for senior manaement.
- Maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations.
- Manage and develop a small finance team.
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyse revenue, costs and client profitability.
- Support wider commercial and strategic finance projects.
- Drive process improvements and finance projects.
- Provide commercial insight to senior management.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified with 4+ years PQE
- Strong financial reporting and month-end experience.
- Previous team management or mentoring experience is an advantage
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong commercial and communication skills.
