    Location: Limerick

    A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Consultant to join their growing operations in Limerick. This is a senior-level role within the financial reporting function, offering the opportunity to play a key part in shaping best practice across teams and acting as a subject matter expert on evolving accounting and regulatory requirements.

    The Role:
    As Senior Consultant, you will:

    • Review and deliver financial statements to ensure compliance with current accounting and regulatory requirements.

    • Act as the primary liaison with external audit firms, coordinating technical updates and ensuring industry developments are effectively communicated to the wider team.

    • Partner with management to identify training needs, develop best practice solutions, and mentor staff across Ireland and outsourced locations.

    • Support client servicing initiatives, contribute to new business opportunities, and participate in due diligence presentations.

    • Represent the financial reporting function at relevant industry forums and with internal stakeholders.

    • Guide staff in resolving complex financial reporting issues and ensure a high standard of client service delivery.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience within the investment management, fund administration, asset management, securities operations, or audit sectors.

    • Strong background in financial reporting, ideally with exposure to Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS.

    • Detailed understanding of fund accounting processes and regulatory frameworks.

    • Experience managing relationships with auditors and clients, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.

    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

    • Working knowledge of leading fund accounting and financial reporting systems.

    • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
