Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable executive to join the Accounts Payable team at a leading Global FMCG company based in West Dublin. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be supporting the companies growing EMEA business and be responsible for invoice processing, payment runs and month end activities.

You will be responsible for:
- Processing PO, non-PO and Freight invoices on ERP.
- Ensure any queries/invoice issues are dealt with immediately.
- Monitor Mailbox for statements approvals & queries
- Seeking approval of non-PO invoices.
- Attach Approval emails to ERP workflow.
- Ensure VAT compliance is adhered too for all entities.
- Reconcile resolved invoices
- Verification of contracts against relevant invoices.
- Supporting the preparation of weekly payment runs.
- Setting up of new vendors on system
- Collaborate with the financial accounting team to ensure freight invoices have been reconciled and cleared against the movement file.
- Perform supplier reconciliations.
- Liaising with the Accounts Payable Manager on outstanding queries list.
- Completed relevant Balance sheet reconciliation at month-end.
- Adhoc reports-unexpected items arising.
Person Specification and experience:
- Minimum of 1-4 years accounts payable experience within a large organisation
- Previous experience of SAP is highly advantageous or other ERP systems
- Experience dealing with high volume or value invoices
- Knowledge of accounting transactions
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience of multicurrency transactions
