Financial Analysis Team Leader - Private Equity (Limerick or Dublin)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Analysis Team Leader to join a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting function within a leading global financial services organisation. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving excellence in client delivery, people management, and operational efficiency.
As Team Leader, you will oversee a team of Fund Accountants, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs), financial reporting, and client deliverables. You will play a central role in managing workloads, reviewing output, and maintaining strong client relationships, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Lead and develop a team within the Private Equity Fund Accounting department, providing guidance, training, and support.
Oversee preparation and review of NAVs, valuations, and client reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain a strong client focus, responding promptly to queries and ensuring service levels are consistently met.
Liaise with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders on financial reporting and audit matters.
Support departmental initiatives, including automation projects and system enhancements (Investran).
Monitor and manage team workloads effectively to meet internal and external deadlines.
Promote a positive team culture, encouraging accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
Assist in developing and executing departmental strategic plans, contributing to the ongoing growth and efficiency of the business.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
Familiarity with the Irish regulatory and tax framework relating to fund accounting and reporting.
Previous experience in Private Equity Fund Administration (or a strong interest to develop in this area).
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with fund accounting systems (Investran advantageous).
Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This position can be based in Limerick or Dublin, offering a hybrid working model.
