Morgan McKinley is partnering with a well estbalished accounting practice to hire an Audit Senior in Tralee.

Engagement Management: Plan, lead, and deliver high-quality audit and financial reporting engagements across a dynamic portfolio of large SMEs, corporate entities, and regulated clients.
Compliance & Standards: Oversee overall compliance within the audit and accounts division, ensuring strict adherence to current accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff, supporting their professional development and managing on-site engagement teams.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key point of contact for client leadership, audit partners, and external bodies (including tax authorities and financial institutions).
Financial Reporting & Advisory: Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements for large audit-exempt entities and deliver tailored reporting to management and partners.
Technical Guidance: Serve as a technical resource for the team on complex accounting issues, software usage, and audit methodologies.
Qualifications: ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience within a public practice environment.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of international/national accounting and auditing standards (e.g., FRS 102 / IFRS / ISAs).
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern audit software suites, cloud accounting platforms, and financial tools.
Tax Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of corporate tax principles is considered a distinct advantage.
Key Skills: Excellent interpersonal, project management, and communication skills, with a track record of building strong client relationships and fostering a collaborative team environment.
