Production Operator
Location: Galway, Ireland
The Role & What You Will Be Doing
To ensure filling duties are performed in an aseptic and GMP-compliant fashion, along with the cleaning of the machines and surrounding rooms.
Every day, the Production Operator role will make an impact by:
- Participating in vial/syringe fills as per the production schedule
- Cleaning the filling room as required at the end of filling
- Participating in jet printing activities when not involved in filling
- Complying with the required Quality Systems, GMP, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards at all times
- Remaining flexible in supporting the department in meeting customer requirements and business objectives
- Performing other duties as assigned, including supporting the Packaging Department in Casla when required
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
- Minimum of a Leaving Certificate and 0-1 years of experience working within a cleanroom environment. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical or medical device environment is desirable but not essential
- Gowning experience appropriate to Grade A/B areas
- Excellent attention to detail
