Validation Engineer

We are looking for a Validation Engineer to join our client, a Pharmaceutical company in Dublin for a 12 month hourly rate contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing end-to-end validation support for manufacturing and packaging lines, specifically focusing on FATs, IOQs, and PQs.
• Managing heavy vendor interaction, working closely with third-party suppliers and project engineers to ensure equipment standards are met.
• Executing "on-the-floor" testing and troubleshooting of machines; specifically supporting the upgrade and validation of vision systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage increased production volumes as the site manufactures beyond current capacity.
• Supporting facility-related validation projects as required to ensure seamless production flow

Skills, Attributes & Experience

• Degree in Engineering or a Scientific related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years + experience working in a Validation role within Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device.
• Strong background in Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing and tablet press equipment is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in vendor management and overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Practical experience with packaging lines and/or vision system upgrades.
• Strong communication skills.
