About the Role:
As our Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance their public-facing presence. You will play a crucial role in shaping their brand's voice across various platforms and engaging directly with their audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Develop and execute social media policies and manage a social media content calendar.
- Utilise social analytics tools to monitor brand awareness and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for social media.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Digital Marketing, Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Social Media professional or in an equivalent role within a Business-to-Consumer (B2C) public-facing company or body.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms, along with their best practices.
- Proven experience in building and executing social media strategy.
- Experience in developing and executing social media policy and content calendars.
- Proficient in utilising social analytics tools for brand awareness and defining social media KPIs.
- Experienced in resolving complex customer queries via social media, requiring cross-departmental coordination.
