As part of their continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving the company's digital marketing and e-commerce strategy-enhancing online visibility, increasing direct bookings, and elevating brand engagement across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals across accommodation, F&B, conferencing, and events.
Drive digital innovation by identifying industry trends, exploring emerging platforms, and attending relevant industry events.
Maximise ROI through effective budget management and performance-led planning.
Performance Management:
Manage the booking engine and optimise conversion rates across digital platforms.
Define and track KPIs for online revenue, website sessions, conversions, and database growth.
Conduct monthly performance reviews, reporting insights and adapting strategies accordingly.
Perform regular audits of website functionality and user experience to ensure digital pathways are optimised and on-brand.
Content and Brand Management:
Oversee the content strategy for websites, microsites, and landing pages, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Work closely with the Brand & Communications team to ensure that all online assets reflect the brand's tone, visual identity, and marketing objectives.
Approve digital marketing collateral and email campaigns, ensuring segmentation and personalisation best practices are followed.
Agency and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with external PPC and website agencies to optimise campaign performance and ROI.
Partner with internal departments-Sales, Revenue, and Events-to align digital initiatives with business opportunities.
Evaluate and adjust online promotional activity to ensure alignment with commercial targets.
Social Media Strategy:
Lead the development and execution of a social media strategy across all group properties.
Provide guidance and training to onsite teams to maintain local relevance and brand consistency.
Monitor and manage brand reputation across review platforms and social channels, responding to feedback professionally and constructively.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and support the Digital Marketing Executive with clear strategic direction and hands-on mentorship.
Conduct performance reviews, foster talent development, and promote a culture of learning and excellence.
Collaborate with HR on employee relations, training needs, and career progression planning.
Budget Management:
Oversee the digital marketing budget, allocating spend to drive results across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Regularly review performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for optimisation.
Skills & Experience Required:
A recognised qualification in Digital Marketing or Marketing (Digital Marketing Institute certification or equivalent preferred).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within the hospitality or travel sectors.
Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media platforms, and CRM systems.
Proficient in website management, Google Analytics, and digital content tools (e.g., Canva, AdobePro).
Experience with newsletter platforms and project management tools such as Jira or Basecamp.
Highly analytical with a data-led approach to decision-making and performance evaluation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational capability, with a proven track record of managing campaigns end-to-end.
