    Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading multinational engineering organisation to appoint a Senior Financial Controller.

    Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple European entities. It offers excellent exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making in a dynamic, international environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead financial operations across multiple European entities, including month-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow management
    • Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements, overseeing statutory accounts and tax filings across jurisdictions
    • Oversee core finance functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general accounting
    • Maintain a robust internal controls framework, ensuring strong risk management and audit readiness
    • Ensure supply chain compliance across all operating regions
    • Manage transfer pricing requirements in line with group and regulatory standards
    • Support the setup of new legal entities across Europe as required
    • Identify and drive continuous process improvements within the finance function
    • Build strong relationships with operational, project, and senior leadership teams
    • Manage outsourced service providers and ensure service delivery excellence
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
    • Support strategic initiatives and key finance projects

    Requirements:

    • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 10+ years' post-qualified experience
    • Proven experience managing multi-entity, international reporting structures
    • Strong leadership capability with a track record of mentoring and developing teams
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high attention to detail
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across the business
