A brilliant opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional to join a growing and ambitious business as Head of Group Financial Reporting.
As the successful candidate you will take ownership of group-wide financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements.
- Lead and continuously improve month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Drive process improvements and automation across financial reporting and finance operations, including systems development and implementation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies to ensure consistency and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practice to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Partner with the Head of Commercial Finance to enhance the presentation and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage intercompany accounting processes, including recharge agreements and reconciliations across group entities.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring actual performance against budget.
- Support treasury activities, including banking relationships and working capital optimisation.
- Lead the annual external audit process and manage relationships with auditors.
- Implement, maintain, and review internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support the CFO with the preparation of board reports and presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date technical accounting and industry knowledge to support best practice across the finance function.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant.
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience within senior financial reporting roles.
- Extensive experience in financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within a large multi-entity environment.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership teams on financial strategy and business performance.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial modelling and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaborative relationship builder with a flexible and adaptable approach.
