Our leading client in Dublin City is looking for an experienced Cyber Security professional to join their team in a senior, client-facing position with responsibility for supporting and developing other security professionals.
This role would suit someone with a strong hands-on security testing background who has developed experience in leading, mentoring or supervising others.
Key experience required:
- 2+ year's experience leading, mentoring or supporting the development of a security/technical team
- Previous hands-on experience carrying out penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and security testing
- Strong understanding of information security principles and security assessment methodologies
- Experience working directly with clients and communicating technical findings effectively
- Evidence of leadership development, whether through formal leadership training, e-learning, internal programmes, mentoring or practical leadership experience
- Experience reviewing technical work and supporting quality standards
- Ability to mentor and develop the skills of other security professionals
Useful background / knowledge:
- Professional information security certification or a relevant higher-level information security qualification
- Familiarity with Information Security Management Systems, such as ISO 27001
- Understanding of Azure core infrastructure
- Previous exposure to security consultancy or professional services environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a client-facing setting
The role is based in Dublin 1, with a hybrid working model of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
Strong base salary + comprehensive package (DOE)
