Role Title: Reconciliation & Client Service Analyst
The Reconciliation and Proofing Analyst is a developing professional role within the Global Reconciliation Utility. The role requires the ability to work independently on most tasks, applying sound professional judgement to resolve complex and variable issues with potential broader business impact.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of industry standards and reconciliation practices. They will demonstrate attention to detail, effective problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex or sensitive information clearly and diplomatically. The role has a moderate but direct impact on core business activities, with quality and timeliness of delivery influencing the effectiveness of both the immediate team and closely aligned functions.
We are seeking a highly motivated Client Service Specialist to support internal client service operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective stakeholder communication across the organisation.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyse and deliver high-quality reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for a range of internal stakeholders.
Client Service: Act as a primary point of contact for internal clients, managing queries, providing updates and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management at all levels.
Operational Support: Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Reconciliation Utility by supporting key client service and operational activities.
Issue Resolution: Identify, investigate and resolve client-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Experience: 2-5 years' relevant experience within the financial services sector preferred.
Reporting & Tools: Strong experience in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation capabilities.
Working Style: Able to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reconciliation Knowledge: Prior experience in reconciliation processes is advantageous but not essential.
