    A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President - Data Analytics & Data Governance to join its team in Dublin. This role requires a strong background in data governance within regulated environments and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insight.

    This is a permanent position based in Dublin City, with 2 days per week onsite. The role offers a strong base salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.

    You will play a key role in strengthening data governance frameworks, enhancing data quality and controls, and delivering advanced analytics to support risk, regulatory, and strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead data governance initiatives including data quality assessment, lineage analysis, control validation, metadata management, and authoritative source identification.
    • Investigate and remediate data issues, providing clear documentation, root cause analysis, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Design and implement automated data pipelines and scalable analytical solutions to support reporting and oversight.
    • Apply statistical modelling and advanced analytics techniques to large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for control and process enhancement.
    • Develop executive-level dashboards and automated reporting solutions for regulatory, risk, and business stakeholders.
    • Partner closely with business, risk, and technology teams to ensure data solutions are aligned with regulatory expectations and enterprise strategy.
    • Strengthen governance frameworks to improve data integrity, transparency, and control effectiveness.

    Key Requirements

    • Proven experience in data analytics, data governance, or data management within financial services.
    • Strong understanding of data quality, controls, lineage, metadata, and regulatory-driven data environments.
    • Experience working within risk, compliance, or control-focused functions.
    • Hands-on experience designing data pipelines and delivering analytical or reporting solutions.
    • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge where appropriate.
