Our client, a leading Global Asset servicing firm, are seeking to add a Senior Depositary Manager to their growing team based in Dublin City Centre.
The successful candidate will provide daily management, oversight, support, and guidance to the client's Depositary team. The Manager will be exposed to all activities including onboarding, cash monitoring, oversight, asset verification, year -end process and interaction with both the Depositary Board and the Central Bank of Ireland.
The Role;
- Act as the primary point of contact for all depositary relationships.
- Monitor cash oversight and safekeeping functions performed by the depositary team, including investigating and resolving discrepancies or anomalies, and liaising with clients where required.
- Support the oversight of depositary clients by assessing risks associated with alternative investment fund (AIF) strategies and structures, reviewing distributions and drawdowns in line with governing documents and applicable regulations, and verifying valuations.
- Prepare and deliver reports to clients in accordance with agreed service level standards.
- Conduct annual reviews of depositary procedures and checklists to ensure they remain up to date; update documentation and provide training to junior team members as needed.
- Ensure new business is onboarded efficiently and in line with internal procedures and checklists, including any required system setup.
Requirements;
- Minimum 2 years' management experience preferred.
- Background in compliance, legal, audit, accountancy, or administration.
- Relevant professional qualification desirable.
- Experience in a depositary or funds environment, including client onboarding, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks within a financial services environment is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues.
