This is a high-visibility, Dublin-based role within the Risk function, responsible for the oversight and quality of a diverse credit portfolio. The position acts as a critical link between technical risk assessment and executive governance, ensuring that lending activities align with both international risk appetite and regional regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Assessment & Advisory: Evaluate complex credit reviews and provide formal recommendations to senior leadership.
Governance & Committee Leadership: Act as the primary coordinator for the Credit Committee.
Regulatory & Framework Oversight: Maintain and update credit risk policies and IFRS 9 frameworks.
Portfolio Monitoring: Safeguard the accuracy of risk reporting by tracking key performance indicators and risk appetite metrics for presentation to senior management committees.
What We're Looking For:
Credit Risk Expertise: Proven experience within a financial reporting environment, with a solid understanding of IFRS 9 accounting standards and loan structures.
Analytical Capability: Strong literacy in data tools such as Excel or Power BI to monitor trends, evaluate risk metrics, and provide data-led insights.
