The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of approved change initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with strategic, regulatory, and operational priorities. Operating within the Business Change framework, the PM will partner with business and technology stakeholders to plan, govern, and deliver change in accordance with established standards and governance models.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for successful delivery of assigned projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through to closure and benefits handover
- Define, own, and continuously manage project scope, objectives, delivery approach, milestones, and dependencies
- Ensure delivery outcomes are achieved in line with agreed scope, timelines, and quality expectations
- Lead projects in full compliance with the Business Change governance framework
- Prepare and present insight-driven updates to Steering Committees, Change Leadership Committee, and Executive Change Committee as required
- Maintain appropriate governance artefacts (RAID, change requests, decisions, actions) proportionate to project risk and complexity
- Manage scope and change through formal change control, ensuring impacts are understood, mitigated, and authorised
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations through clear, confident, and timely communication
- Support the definition, tracking, and realisation of benefits throughout the delivery lifecycle
Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years' experience managing projects within a structured change or delivery function
- Proven experience delivering change through formal governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Demonstrated capability in risk and dependency management
- Experience of change delivery in regulated environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning capability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry
- Familiarity with change risk frameworks and benefits realisation tracking
