Our client is a leading global financial institution running a multi-year, large-scale cloud migration programme to modernise its Financial Regulatory Reporting platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead to provide project management expertise and support across a range of delivery projects, with a strong track record in large-scale cloud migration programmes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable flexing into BA and PMO support where needed, particularly on larger projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project management expertise on a multi-year cloud migration initiative across global regulatory reporting platforms
- Ensure adherence to enterprise SDLC, cloud governance, and regulatory control frameworks
- Support technology delivery across multiple regions in line with the global migration plan, working closely with internal technology teams and vendor delivery partners
- Work with business partner teams across Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting globally
- Partner with internal compliance groups and vendor partners to ensure governance policy is adhered to across the portfolio, in line with stated standards and processes
- Provide combined programme management and PMO leadership, applying a mix of stakeholder and project management skills to implement the cloud platform across multiple geographies
- Maintain and monitor progress against the programme roadmap, migration strategy and delivery plans
- Ensure ongoing communication of project governance to all stakeholders on project and delivery status
- Work closely with key business subject matter experts, development and testing teams to produce business requirements associated with business, operational and technical changes
- Facilitate recurring project working groups, engagements and meetings with external and internal teams to monitor delivery progress
What We're Looking For
Essential Role Competencies
- Strong programme governance and delivery expertise
- Extensive experience of cloud migration projects for a large-scale financial institution
- Experience of regulatory reporting implementations, preferably within a Tier 1 Systemically Important Bank
- High-level understanding of financial products and key asset classes, such as debt, equity and commodities
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage up and down the technology chain, and work with business partners from multiple disciplines and priorities across global locations
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
- In-depth knowledge of delivering within Scaled Agile and hybrid delivery models
