Are you a hands-on engineer with a knack for project delivery? We are seeking a Project / Equipment Engineer to drive technical innovation and equipment reliability within a state-of-the-art Drug Product manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Projects Manager, you will be the technical lead for scoping and executing upgrades across Lyophilisation, Formulation, Filling, and Inspection suites.
This is a "cradle-to-grave" project role. You won't just be managing timelines; you'll be deep in the technical details-from initial concept and design to commissioning and long-term maintenance strategy.
- Lead Technical Projects: Manage the end-to-end delivery of new equipment and system upgrades.
- Operational Readiness: Bridge the gap between capital projects and daily operations, ensuring new assets are "user-ready," reliable, and fully maintained.
- Problem Solve: Troubleshoot equipment issues during start-up and lead root cause investigations for complex technical failures.
- Compliance & Quality: Author detailed engineering protocols, SOPs, and change controls within a rigorous GMP/GDP environment.
- Collaboration: Act as the vital link between vendors, maintenance teams, and cross-functional site leadership.
What You Bring
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years in a technical engineering role, ideally within Biopharma or a similar highly regulated industry.
- Technical Edge: Strong mechanical aptitude with "hands-on" experience and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Project Mastery: Proven ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines using MS Project or similar tools.
- Communication: A collaborative mindset with the ability to present technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Note: Occasional travel may be required to support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for new equipment
