Payroll Processor (Bureau) - Accounting Firm
Hours: Part time & Full time on offer
Flexitime: Can start between 7:30am -9:15am
Hybrid: 3 days onsite /2 remote
Contract: Temporary / Rolling
Location: Dublin City Centre (Close to Stephens Green)
Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 per annum
Requirement: ASAP - Immediate start
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Payroll Processor (Bureau) to join a medium size accounting firm on a temporary contract. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple client payrolls, and confidently deliver accurate, compliant payrolls under tight deadlines.
You will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, including a large monthly payroll of up to 1,000 employees for one of the firm's key clients. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
This role is suitable for a full‑time candidate or a strong part‑time payroll professional with bureau experience (desired). Previous Irish payroll experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities

End‑to‑end processing of multiple client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)

Managing high‑volume payroll cycles, including a large monthly payroll of 1,000+ employees

Ensuring accuracy in PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, holiday pay, and statutory deductions

Handling payroll queries and providing excellent client service

Importing large payroll data files (nice to have)

Maintaining compliance with Revenue and internal processes
What We're Looking For

Essential: Irish payroll experience is a must!

Payroll bureau experience managing multiple client payrolls (highly desired)

Strong end‑to‑end payroll processing skills

Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure

Experience with high‑volume payrolls

Nice to have: Sage Micropay or similar payroll software

Nice to have: Experience importing large payroll data sets
