Introduction
This is an MS&T Process Engineer role at Ipsen Manufacturing Ireland Ltd in Dublin. Operating under a hybrid work model , this position reports to the MS&T Senior Manager. The primary purpose is to provide technical and process engineering solutions to support, optimize, and improve both existing and new manufacturing processes within a highly regulated cGMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Project & Process Management: Lead and coordinate MS&T projects, provide engineering support to capital projects, and manage process automation updates.
- Validation & Compliance: Perform validation on new equipment by preparing qualification/validation protocols and reports while ensuring adherence to GxP and site EHS systems.
- Troubleshooting & Investigations: Lead the resolution of process equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis for EHS and quality events, and implement effective CAPAs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and risk assessments (including HAZOPs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as an MS&T ambassador, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Operations Technology, Maintenance, and Global MS&T.
Key Requirements
- Education: A BSc in Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical Knowledge & Experience: Strong understanding of good engineering practices in acGMP environment, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with process automation, data analytics/visualization tools, and the engineering design process (preferred).
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Core Competencies: Strong data analysis skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication & Adaptability: Fluent written and spoken English, clear and concise communication skills, and the flexibility to work independently. (French language skills are a plus ).
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
