We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Process Engineer to drive operational excellence, optimize production efficiency, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Serving as the technical anchor for manufacturing shifts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, and EHS) to eliminate downtime, resolve complex process faults, and instill a robust reliability culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization & Troubleshooting: Provide real-time technical support to shift teams; analyze equipment data to diagnose faults, reduce waste, and maximize uptime.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead site-wide Lean/Six Sigma initiatives (FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone) to resolve quality deviations and boost yields.
- Project & Program Ownership: Take ownership of key technical and EHS programs from initial concept and strategy through to execution and control.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Maintenance and QA to investigate quality issues (including customer complaints) and implement long-term corrective actions.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Education
- Degree: 3rd level qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar) or equivalent substantial experience.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering/technical experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Methodologies: Strong practical knowledge of World-Class Manufacturing practices, Lean, and variation reduction techniques (Six Sigma, DMAIC).
- Tools: Proficiency in asset reliability tools and standard engineering software (MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project).
