Your Role:
In this role, you will provide communications support across all areas of the function including Social Media, PR and Internal Communications activities reporting to the PR, Social Media & Communications Manager.
As a key member of the Corporate Affairs and Communications team, you will support the function across multiple communication projects, managing our social media channels, delivering daily and weekly administrative tasks. You will be involved from ideation, creative development and implementation of visual content, across our external and social media channels, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of communications in the bank.
We are looking for a creative and innovative team player who will proactively and reactively support in identifying opportunities to develop impactful, value-add, engaging content, to deliver on our communications strategies, while working seamlessly and collaboratively across the business.

This is a newly established function created to reflect the bank's commitment to sustainability as a key driver of its corporate strategy and the value it places on corporate affairs as a driver of internal and external stakeholder engagement.
The role holder will report to the PR, Social Media & Communications manager and will be part of an engaged and empowered team who execute their communications activities to a high standard and work seamlessly with all teams across the bank to support the organisation's communications objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high impact and innovative communications campaigns that connect with the audience and meet the needs of the business
- Support Content & Communications specialist in the development and implementation of the Bank's external communication, social media & content strategies, demonstrating our Brand positioning of 'Altogether more human'.
- Management of day to day social media channels, including publication and community management, including moderation, reporting and coordination of the social media calendar.
- Measure channel effectiveness and produce regular channel metrics reports for social media and PR, inclusive of post-event surveys, to measure success
- Draft and edit content for inclusion in social media and PR, and internal communications where relevant
- Develop multi media social content inclusive of video, infographics, imagery and blogs
- Support in the design and delivery of creative and engaging content for internal events and initiatives, and identify opportunities to leverage for external communications
- Work with influencers, brand ambassadors and agency partners to expand reach and engagement through video content creation for external and social media channels
- Utilise stats, analytics and insight to inform social media content development and planning to build engaged communities and brand advocacy
- Engage and work closely with all areas of the organisation to give social media best practice and guidance to develop engaging content across brand channels.
- Support with Sustainability and Sponsorships Social Media activations where required as a key delivery of our social media strategy
- Support social media listening agency to coordinate monthly reports, meetings and internal distribution
- Provide support for specific projects as required including research and analysis for Sustainability and Corporate Affairs activities
- Manage the social media communications mailbox and invoicing requirements for the function
- Act as key RCSA & BCM coordinator for Corporate Affairs & Comms team
- Follow appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities and support with Social Media Governance and Reputational Risk activities where required
- Crisis communications support where required
Requirements:
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality
- Ability to write clear, concise and engaging communications, with exceptional attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel when required for campaign development and implementation purposes.
- Proven ability of delivering to challenging targets / plans
- Clear track record of working effectively in situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters
- A good understanding of an Irish Financial Services or Bank operating environment would be an advantage
- Experience of liaising with stakeholders
Desired
- Educated to Digital Marketing/Communications degree level or business related third level qualification.
- 2+ Years experience in communications campaign development and performance delivery.
- Understanding of paid social media advertising and formats.
- Expert command of Microsoft products critical to the delivery of the responsibilities of the role (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to use strong judgment skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales, and quality of output
- Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and oral). Highly organised and structured in approach
- Cross-functional teamwork and collaboration skills are integral to the position
- Sound knowledge on latest developments in brand, consumer, PR culture, and media trends.
