With manufacturing operations located internationally and a supply chain support function based in Dublin, our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Clerk to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics or inventory professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records while supporting the efficient movement of goods across a global supply chain.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dublin South, operating on a hybrid working model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). Standard working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate inbound shipments from international manufacturing sites and external suppliers.
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Process goods receipts accurately and ensure all supporting documentation is maintained.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, warehouse partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Support the efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's ERP system.
- Process inventory transactions, including goods receipts, stock transfers, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support annual inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment activities where required.
Administration & Reporting
- Update logistics and inventory information within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Produce inventory and logistics reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and logistics processes.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, Finance, warehouse partners, and international manufacturing teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Respond promptly to inventory and logistics-related queries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Maintain an organised and compliant receiving and inventory control process.
- Ensure inventory activities are completed in accordance with company quality and compliance standards.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Logistics, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Administration role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
