What's the Role?
My Client is seeking a qualified solicitor with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience to join our in-house legal team in Dublin. This role involves supporting the General Counsel and the wider organization on commercial contracting, compliance, and risk matters across an international business. The focus is on providing practical, business-aligned legal advice.
Key Responsibilities include:
Reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a range of commercial contracts, such as customer agreements (direct and channel sales), supply and manufacturing agreements, and services and licensing contracts.
Supporting the implementation of corporate compliance policies in areas like export controls (ITAR/EAR/EU Dual-Use), trade compliance and sanctions, data protection (GDPR), and anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
Providing first-line legal support to business stakeholders and escalating matters as needed.
Collaborating with a Legal Executive to ensure documentation, signatures, and contract records are maintained.
Assisting in preparing training content and guidance for staff on relevant legal and compliance issues.
Monitoring regulatory and industry developments relevant to the business.
Supporting internal projects, such as business expansion into new jurisdictions.
Collaborating with external counsel on specialized matters as required.
