This senior executive position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead operational strategy, quality standards, and regulatory compliance across multi-site technical facilities in the Greater Dublin Area. Working with a prominent technical services organisation, the successful candidate will drive resource optimisation, streamline workflows, and ensure full adherence to international governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall operational strategies, long-range resource forecasting, and facility oversight.
- Optimise capacity, scheduling workflows, and staff utilisation to consistently meet key performance metrics.
- Establish, maintain, and refine Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with recognised international quality and inspection standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 17020.
- Identify operational vulnerabilities, direct risk mitigation programmes, and lead external compliance audits conducted by regulatory bodies and standards authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and coach regional managers and site supervisors.
- Oversee continuous technical training and annual certification programmes for operational staff.
- Enforce institutional compliance policies, ethical operational standards, and internal integrity assurance programmes across all sites.
- Serve as the principal operational contact for regulatory authorities, industry partners, and internal executive teams.
- Author, review, and execute technical Standard Operating Procedures and operational policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing comprehensive Quality Management Systems and audit frameworks.
- Advanced skills in data analysis, operational reporting
- Exposure to modern AI-assisted operational tools.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, operational risk assessment, and standard operating procedure development.
- Familiarity with technical inspection databases, database architecture, or reporting queries
