As a Compliance Specialist, you demonstrate working knowledge of functional compliance areas at a product level or risk area level (privacy, content, etc.) and deliver full pieces of a project that are integrated into overarching projects, with minimal assistance. You plan and execute prioritized project work, select appropriate methods to most effectively achieve project objectives, and identify compliance risks. You address commonly escalated issues or triage, when required, and identify and recommend creative ways to improve on solutions to defined problems. You collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams and coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for assigned components.
Responsibilities include:
- Help develop and deliver in-person compliance training and communication content across multiple teams, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and available, and compliance training is delivered to and completed by all relevant employees.
- Provide basic/intermediate general program management support on compliance issues and deliver full pieces of a compliance project that are integrated into the overarching program, with minimal assistance.
- Deliver full pieces of a compliance project and/or process that are integrated into the overarching program, with minimal assistance.
- Develop and maintain metrics reporting for leadership to include regularly recurring reports, with minimal guidance.
- With minimal guidance, execute full pieces of risk assessments to identify key risks and help prioritize program efforts for the compliance function.
- Help develop and deliver actionable data analysis through findings and recommendations and present them verbally and in writing to drive decisions
- Drive controls framework, with minimal guidance to translate our obligations across legal, regulatory, and self-regulatory domains as well as compliance commitments established through our internal policies and standards into controls and business processes/requirements.
- Identify improvements in compliance policies/processes and suggest remedial actions, with minimal guidance.
Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:
- Working experience with Compliance requests
- Able to provide guidance on queries related to policy/compliance
- Able to support documentation; previous experience with document writing or copywriting in a policy context is helpful.
